Day 1: Arrival in Rishikesh

Arrive in Rishikesh, known as the "spiritual capital" of India. Rishikesh sits on the banks of the Ganges, surrounded by forested hills, which gives it a more relaxed pace.

After check-in, rest and acclimatize in your hotel in Rishikesh. Unlike the fast-paced lifestyle of cities, Rishikesh brings peace and calmness. The sound of the river, the ringing of bells in temples, and the evening aarti bring peace.

As sunset approaches, go to Triveni Ghat. This is the place where you can witness Ganga Aarti in the evening. Priests perform their Aartis while devotees offer flowers and lamps that float on the river. You will then go back to your hotel for dinner and sleep.

Day 2: Rishikesh

The day begins with an optional yoga and meditation class, which is strenuous or intense. These sessions can be attended by all levels of yoga practitioners and are characteristically slow-paced. They involve more focus on breathing, posture, and meditation.

Visit spiritual landmarks like Parmarth Niketan Ashram, famous for its serene surroundings and prayers held every day. Take a stroll on the suspended bridges of Lakshman Jhula & Ram Jhula. These bridges are a masterpiece of engineering, as they stretch across the river, giving a breathtaking view of the Ganges.

Spend the time walking along the banks of the river, observing the sadhus, the pilgrims, and the local life. The rest of the afternoon can be spent sitting along the river, reading or resting. Retire to your hotel.

Day 3: Rishikesh to Amritsar

Stay: Amritsar

After breakfast, start your journey to Amritsar. The contrast is clear. From the peace of the Himalayas, you enter the very core of Sikh beliefs and life.

After arrival, check into your hotel and rest. In the evening, you will visit the Golden Temple. Walk barefoot in this complex, watch people praying in this place, and experience the tranquility born.

You can also attend the Langar if you visit this place during peak hours, which will allow you to observe free meals being served to thousands of people each day by volunteers in this holy place.

Day 4: Amritsar

Stay: Amritsar

Begin the day with an early tour of the Golden Temple. The early morning hours find the Golden Temple in an exceptionally peaceful ambience. The sacred hymns murmur in the background, making the complex radiate an aura of immense serenity.
Later, visit Jallianwala Bagh, a memorial that is an important part of India's history. Then visit the Wagah Border to witness the retreat ceremony. The ceremony is quite energetic and symbolic and represents a different form of nationalism.

Now, go back to your hotel, have your dinner, and a good night's sleep.

Day 5: Amritsar to Varanasi

Stay: Varanasi

After breakfast, proceed to Varanasi, which is considered to be one of the oldest living cities in the world. Arrive and check into a heritage hotel, overlooking the holy Ganges. These properties offer a calm area above the crowded ghats to watch without being disturbed.
During the evening, visit the Ganga Aarti ceremony that occurs at Dashashwamedh Ghat. Unlike Rishikesh, this ceremony is bigger in size and more intense. The priests carry out coordinated religious rituals while thousands assemble along the river banks. After experiencing this, have your dinner and return to the hotel.

Day 6: Varanasi

Stay: Varanasi

Start early with a sunrise boat ride on the Ganges. As the dawn breaks, the river awakens. Sadhus bathe in the river. Prayers are chanted, and the rituals remain the same as they were centuries ago.

After breakfast, take a stroll through the old city streets with your guide. Discover temples, see how worship happens, and understand the faith on which this place is based. Later, visit Sarnath, where Buddha delivered his first sermon. Simply being there is a restful experience.

The afternoon is free. You may rest, journal, or simply sit by the river. Varanasi reveals itself slowly, often in quiet moments rather than grand sights.

Day 7: Varanasi to Dharamshala

Stay: Dharamshala

After having breakfast, start your journey to Dharamshala.

Set against the Dhauladhar mountains, the place feels cooler, lighter, and calmer. It is the heart of Tibetan Buddhism in India and the home of the Dalai Lama. The rest of the day is free for you. You can take a walk around and relax or explore the nearby cafes. After that, retire to your hotel and have a peaceful sleep.

Day 8: Dharamshala

Stay: Dharamshala

Walk through the streets of McLeod Ganj and visit the Tsuglagkhang Complex, which has temples, prayer halls, and monasteries. See monks praying and learn about Tibetan philosophy, compassion, and mindfulness.

Go to the Tibetan Museum to learn about the history of the Tibetan people. Explore markets that sell prayer flags, handicrafts, and books.

The afternoon is free.

Day 9: Dharamshala

Stay: Delhi

After breakfast, move to Delhi. The city may feel chaotic after days of spiritual tranquility, but Delhi integrates many strands of Indian identity. Spend the rest of the day relaxing at your hotel. The evening is at leisure. You can have a quiet dinner, enjoy the hotel amenities, and have a relaxing spa.

Day 10: Delhi – Faith, History, and Closure

Stay: Delhi

Spend the day touring Delhi's religious and historical attractions. These include the Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat, Humayun's Tomb, and Gurudwara Bangla Sahib. After all of these, you can consider shopping in the local markets or enjoying local delicacies. We will then return to the hotel.

Day 11: Departure – Carrying the Journey Forward

After breakfast, we assist you with your transfer to the airport for your onward journey. Our team takes care of the transfer for a smooth and comfortable departure.
