Tour Plan

Day 1: Arrival in Ahmedabad

The trip start from Ahmedabad, Gujarat’s cultural and historical hub. After arrival, you will check in to your hotel and enjoy some time to relax. Later in the day, you can explore the city’s iconic landmarks such as the Sabarmati Ashram, where Mahatma Gandhi once lived, and the beautiful Sidi Saiyyed Mosque, renowned for its intricate stone lattice work. The evening is perfect for a leisurely stroll along the Sabarmati Riverfront or indulging in authentic Gujarati cuisine at a local eatery.

Overnight stay in Ahmedabad.

Day 2: Ahmedabad to Sasan Gir

The next morning, after a hearty breakfast, you will set out on a scenic drive towards Sasan Gir, the land of the Asiatic lions. The drive takes you through picturesque landscapes and rustic villages that showcase Gujarat’s countryside charm. Upon arrival, you will check in to a wildlife resort or lodge near the Gir National Park. In the afternoon, you can visit the Gir Interpretation Zone at Devalia, which offers a preview of the park’s rich biodiversity and provides the opportunity to spot lions, leopards, and deer in a more controlled environment. In the evening, unwind in the peaceful ambience of the resort and prepare for the thrilling safari the next day.

Dress code is smart casual. Please be advised that shorts or sleeveless tops are not recommended in the temples.
A moderate amount of walking is involved. Please wear comfortable shoes.
