Beginning in Ahmedabad, the tour takes you to the sacred town of Dwarka, one of the revered Char Dham pilgrimage sites, and then onwards to Somnath, home to the legendary Somnath Temple standing tall on the Arabian Sea coast. From there, the journey continues to Gir National Park, the last abode of the Asiatic lions, followed by Junagadh, where history and architecture echo tales of bygone eras. The tour also includes a visit to Palitana, the world-renowned Jain pilgrimage centre with its magnificent cluster of marble temples atop Shatrunjaya Hill. Throughout the trip, you will witness Gujarat’s rich traditions, architectural marvels, diverse landscapes, and spiritual essence, making it an unforgettable experience that perfectly showcases the glory of Gujarat.

Tour Plan
Day 1: Ahmedabad to Dwarka

Depart from Ahmedabad in the morning and journey toward Dwarka, one of Hinduism’s Char Dhams. En route, enjoy glimpses of rural Gujarat’s pastoral landscapes. Upon arrival, visit the revered Dwarkadhish Temple and witness the mesmerizing Sandhya Aarti by the sea. Overnight stay in Dwarka.

Day 2: Dwarka to Somnath

After breakfast, head south toward Somnath via Porbandar—Mahatma Gandhi’s birthplace to see the iconic Kirti Mandir. Arrive in Somnath in time for the evening aarti at this legendary Jyotirlinga shrine. Stay overnight in Somnath.

Additional Information

  • A current valid passport is required on the day of travel.
  • Not wheelchair accessible.
  • Dress code is smart casual. Please be advised that shorts or sleeveless tops are not recommended in the temples.
  • A moderate amount of walking is involved. Please wear comfortable shoes.
  • No heart problems or other severe medical conditions, most travellers can participate.
