Tour Plan

Day 1 Arrival at Cochin and all day tour

Our representative will greet you at the airport. After checking in at the hotel we arranged for you and relaxing for a bit, we can commence with Cochin. Mangalavanam Bird Sanctuary and Kerala Folklore museum are two places that are the nearest and hence serve as a convenient start for the trip. If you want to explore the culture and heritage of God’s Own Country, the museum is a must visit. For nature lovers, the bird sanctuary is a paradise. For a spiritual retreat, Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica and St Francis Church offer great architecture to marvel at.

Cochin has many palaces, most of which have now been turned into a museum. In Fort Kochi and Mattancherry, you would find palaces build by the Portugues, Dutch, British, etc. Spend some time at the Paradesi Synagogue and you will surely learn a lot. Do not forget to check the Chinese Fishing Nets while you are at Fort Kochi Beach.

Day 2: Arrival in Alleppey and Part 2 of the Tour (1 hour 5 minutes – 53 kms)

Traveling from Cochin to Alleppey, you will notice the complete shift from Cochin’s bustling urban life to the serene rural settings of Alleppey. Upon your arrival in Alleppey and after freshening up, you can take the famous houseboat ride in the backwaters of Kuttanad and Vembanad Lake and relax at the beach. The green paddy fields will surely provide a visual treat. This is also a perfect moment to savor the delectable Kerala dishes. In case you are in search of a calming place to spend your spiritual time, the town of Alleppey also has numerous temples and churches to visit.
