DAY 1: Arrival At Delhi

Hotel: The Imperial New Delhi / Maidens Hotel Your journey starts in Delhi, which is a place where history and modern life coexist. After your arrival at the airport, our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. You are accommodated at one of the most prestigious heritage hotels in Delhi. These heritage hotels are known for their large rooms, peaceful gardens, and serene ambiance. After you check in, the entire day remains free. This day is all about relaxing and settling in. You can rest after your flight, enjoy a meal at your hotel, or take a simple stroll around your hotel corridors and garden areas.

DAY 2: Exploring Delhi

Hotel: The Imperial New Delhi / Maidens Hotel So Day 2 of the tour begins exploring Delhi. After breakfast, we will start exploring Old Delhi. Visit Jama Masjid, one of India’s largest and oldest mosques. Here, observe the daily prayers and the quiet routines. Stroll through the narrow streets and lanes. Ride in a rickshaw to see the markets in Chandni Chowk. Experience the food, clothes, shops, and family-run businesses that have been there for generations and generations. Then, we will see New Delhi, a city planned during the British period. Drive through wide avenues, past government buildings and manicured gardens. We will stop at some of the sights such as the India Gate, Humayun’s Tomb, and others. At each site, we’ll gain a different perspective on Indian values, beliefs, and history. Back at the hotel in the evening. Have your time and rest.

DAY 3: Delhi to Agra

Hotel: Courtyard Agra / The Oberoi Amarvilas / ITC Mughal After breakfast, depart for Agra in a private, air-conditioned vehicle. The journey offers views of small towns, fields, and roadside life, giving a sense of everyday India beyond the cities. On arrival, check into your hotel. Some properties offer views of the Taj Mahal, creating a sense of anticipation even before visiting it. In the afternoon, explore Agra Fort, a vast Mughal structure that once served as a royal residence. Walk through its halls and courtyards while learning about emperors, power struggles, and life behind palace walls. From certain balconies, the Taj Mahal appears in the distance, adding emotional context to its story. As evening approaches, visit the Taj Mahal. This is not about rushing for photographs. Walk slowly through the gardens, listen to its history, and take time to absorb the symmetry and scale. The monument feels different at this hour, quieter and softer.

DAY 4: Agra to Jaipur

Hotel: Samode Haveli / Alsisar Haveli / Jai Mahal Palace An optional sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal is available, which allows you to experience the sight of the Taj in early morning light when the marble changes its tones. Continue onward to Jaipur, Rajasthan’s capital. On arrival, check into your heritage hotel. These are former royal residences, restored and refurbished to retain their courtyards, local architecture, and modern comfort. Spend the evening relaxing, enjoying the surroundings of the hotel, or take a short walk around. Proceed to the next destination, that is, the capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Upon your arrival, check into your booked heritage hotel. These are former royal residences, restored and refurbished to retain their courtyards, local architecture, and modern comfort. Spend the evening relaxing, enjoying the surroundings of the hotel, or taking a short walk around.

DAY 5: Exploring Jaipur

Hotel: Samode Haveli / Alsisar Haveli / Jai Mahal Palace Jaipur is famous for its planning, symmetry, and royal past. Today, we will be exploring all the prominent attractions in the city. First, start with the Amber Fort, located outside the main city of Jaipur. Take a tour of the courtyards, halls, and terraces while listening to narratives about Rajput rulers and their lifestyle. Then, there is City Palace, even today inhabited by the royal family, with museums featuring textiles, arms, and paintings. Then proceed to the Jantar Mantar, the ancient astronomical observatory that functions to this day. Stop for photos at the famous Hawa Mahal. After the sightseeing, you can enjoy shopping, dine in, or enjoy a relaxing spa.

DAY 6: Jaipur to Jaisalmer

Hotel: Hotel Gulaal / Hotel Nachana Haveli Proceed to Jaisalmer. The landscapes start changing slowly as you enter the desert tones. Jaisalmer seems to rise from the sand, built entirely of golden stone. Arrive and check into your heritage hotel. The evening is quiet and lets you rest and recharge. Watch sunset on rooftops or enjoy a relaxed dinner.

DAY 7: Exploring Jaisalmer

Hotel: Hotel Gulaal / Hotel Nachana Haveli Explore Jaisalmer Fort, one of the few living forts in the world. Within the fort walls, homes, temples, and shops function, making it a living environment. The Patwon Ki Haveli and the Nathmal Ki Haveli represent detailed carvings and merchant histories. Each structure reflects the wealth created by desert trade routes. Later, head for Sam Sand Dunes to have a gentle desert experience. The quietness of the desert provides a rare sense of space and serenity.

DAY 8: Jaisalmer to Jodhpur

Hotel: Devi Bhawan / Ajit Bhawan / RAAS Jodhpur After your breakfast, drive to Jodhpur. The journey passes through desert villages and open landscapes. Jodhpur stands at the base of the enormous Mehrangarh Fort, with blue-painted houses. Arrive at your heritage hotel and take some time to rest. During the evening, you can explore the local bazaars around the Clock Tower, teeming with spices, textiles, and daily trade.

DAY 9: Exploring Jodhpur

Hotel: Devi Bhawan / Ajit Bhawan / RAAS Jodhpur After breakfast, we will start exploring Jodhpur. Visit the Mehrangarh Fort, one of India’s most magnificent hill forts. Explore the museums, courtyards, and look-out points offering views of the city. Continue to the Umaid Bhawan Palace, which is both a residence and a museum. Its architecture reflects a later royal period. The rest of the day is available for cafe hopping, shopping, or simply resting.

DAY 10: Jodhpur to Udaipur

Hotel: Shiv Niwas Palace / Jagat Niwas Palace / Trident Udaipur Drive towards Udaipur via the Aravalli hills. Stop at the Ranakpur Jain temples, famous for their marble carvings and peaceful surroundings. Reach Udaipur and check in to your lakeside hotel. In the evening, enjoy the boat ride at Lake Pichola while appreciating the reflection of the palace lights on the water body.

DAY 11: Exploring Udaipur

Hotel: Shiv Niwas Palace / Jagat Niwas Palace / Trident Udaipur After breakfast, start exploring Udaipur. Visit City Palace, Bagore Ki Haveli, & Saheliyon Ki Bari. After that, you can spend some time in the local markets and go shopping. In the evening, plan a relaxed dinner by the lake, thus bringing a smooth end to your journey.

DAY 12: Udaipur to Delhi and Departure

The tour ends here. After breakfast, we will now head towards Delhi for your onward journey. Connect to your international flight or overnight in Delhi if required.
