Our first stop is the awe-inspiring Sun Temple of Modhera, dedicated to the Sun God, Surya. Built in the early 11th century by King Bhima I of the Solanki dynasty, the temple is an architectural marvel with its intricately carved pillars, the beautifully designed Sabha Mandap (assembly hall), and the sacred Surya Kund (stepwell).
