At the end of the walking tour, you will depart for Sarnath, where the Buddha gave his first sermon after achieving enlightenment. Visiting Sarnath provides a peaceful respite from the hustle and bustle of the ghats.
The remainder of the day will be yours to use as you wish. You may choose to return to the riverfront area of Varanasi or simply enjoy the view from your hotel room.
