Tour Plan

Day 01: Arrival – Srinagar

  • Arrival at Srinagar Airport.
  • Meet and assist, followed by transfer to the hotel.
  • Rest and leisure after arrival.
  • Evening free for a walk along Boulevard Road and to enjoy the scenic views of Dal Lake.

Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 02: Srinagar – City Tour & Shikara Ride

Morning Sightseeing:

  • Visit Shalimar Bagh
  • Visit Nishat Bagh
  • Visit Chashme Shahi
  • Visit Pari Mahal
  • Visit Shankaracharya Temple

Afternoon:

  • Visit Heritage Jamia Mosque
  • Visit Hazratbal Shrine

Evening:

  • Shikara ride on Dal Lake
  • Explore the floating gardens
  • Enjoy the Char Chinar view
  • Watch the sunset over the Zabarwan Hills

Overnight in Srinagar.

Day 03: Srinagar – Pahalgam (Approx. 3 hrs)

  • Drive to Pahalgam.

Enroute Visit:

  • Visit Pampore saffron fields
  • Visit Awantipora Ruins

Afternoon:

  • On arrival, check in at the hotel.
  • Enjoy a pony ride and explore the Valley of Shepherds.
  • Walk along the Lidder River.
  • Explore the local market.

Overnight in Pahalgam.

Day 04: Pahalgam – Valley Excursion

  • Today, enjoy excursions to Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, and Chandanwari.
  • Visit Aru Valley.
  • Short nature walk / pony ride (optional).
  • Visit Betaab Valley.
  • Riverside photography.
  • Visit Chandanwari.
  • Explore snow patches (seasonal).
  • Return to the hotel.

Overnight in Pahalgam.

Day 05: Pahalgam – Gulmarg (Approx. 4–5 hrs)

  • Drive to Gulmarg.

Afternoon:

  • Explore Gulmarg meadow.
  • Visit the Golf Course.
  • Enjoy leisurely walks through the pine forest.

Overnight in Gulmarg.

Day 06: Gulmarg – Gondola Ride & Valley Exploration

Morning:

  • Ride the Gulmarg Gondola, a cable car.
  • Phase 1: Kongdori
  • Phase 2: Apharwat Peak

Activities:

  • Enjoy snow activities (during the winter season).
  • Photography and reels.
  • Meadow walks.
  • Free evening.

Overnight in Gulmarg.

Day 07: Gulmarg – Sonmarg (Approx. 4–5 hrs)

  • Drive to Sonmarg.

Evening:

  • Walk along the Sindh River.
  • Visit the glacier.
  • Relax and acclimatize.

Overnight in Sonmarg.

Day 08: Sonmarg – Naranag Day Hiking – Srinagar

Morning:

  • Transfer to Naranag.

Activities:

  • Explore the ancient Naranag Temple ruins.
  • Enjoy a 3–4 hour guided hike through alpine meadows.
  • Packed lunch, drinking water, snacks, tea, and coffee will be provided.
  • Later, drive to Srinagar (approx. 2–3 hrs).

Overnight in Srinagar.

Day 09: Srinagar – Doodhpathri Day Hiking

  • Drive to Doodhpathri (approx. 2.5–3 hrs).

Activities:

  • Meadow walk.
  • Riverside relaxation.
  • Pony ride (optional).
  • Explore waterfalls and shepherd huts.
  • Enjoy 2 to 3 hours of light hiking through the pine trees and meadows.
  • Packed lunch, drinking water, snacks, tea, and coffee will be provided.
  • Return to Srinagar by evening.

Overnight in Srinagar.

Day 10: Srinagar – Delhi (Airport drop off)

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Transfer to the airport for your onward journey.

Additional Information

  • A current and valid passport is required on the day of travel.
  • This tour is not wheelchair accessible.
  • The dress code is smart casual. Please note that shorts or sleeveless tops are not recommended when visiting temples.
  • A moderate amount of walking is involved. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
  • Most travelers can participate; however, this tour may not be suitable for individuals with heart problems or other serious medical conditions.

All meals will be provided as specified in the itinerary. Please inform us of any food allergies or dietary sensitivities at the time of booking or contact the trip host in advance.

We always do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions; however, we cannot guarantee that all dietary requirements can be accommodated.

Terms and Conditions

  • The tour will be confirmed only after receiving a 50% advance payment. The remaining balance must be paid before the commencement of the tour.
  • Any hotel or package booking will remain tentative until the required advance payment has been received and the booking is confirmed on a guaranteed basis.
  • A 15% transaction fee will be charged for cancellations made between 45 and 30 days prior to the scheduled booking date.
  • 50% cancellation charges will apply to cancellations made within the last 30 days before the scheduled tour date.
  • 100% cancellation charges will apply in case of a No Show.
  • Cancellation requests must be made by contacting us at +91 99291 52946 / +91 97846 11046 and by sending an email to inquiry@januprivatetours.com. Cancellations made through any other means will not be entertained.
  • Our 24-hour helpline is available at +91 99291 52946 / +91 97846 11046.
  • In the event of an increase in the cost of hotels, airfare, transportation, government taxes, fuel, or other applicable charges, the additional cost will be payable by the traveler.
  • We accept payments through Razorpay, PayPal, and Credit Cards. Applicable transaction charges and GST will be charged as per the prevailing policies and government regulations.
  • After the tour or service cost has been finalized, any increase in monument or museum entrance fees, taxes, fuel costs, or guide charges imposed by the Government of India or the Rajasthan State Government will be charged additionally.
  • The cost of travel insurance, personal insurance, medical emergencies, and any other personal expenses will be borne by the traveler.
