On the second day, your driver will pick you up and take you to visit the historical sites of New Delhi with a guide. Visit sites such as Qutab Minar, then proceed to the Red Fort which was built in 1648 by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan. Explore other well-known attractions of Delhi including Humayun’s Tomb and the tomb of another Mughal Emperor. As we begin our journey towards Udaipur, we make a stop at the renowned Ranakpur Jain Temple. This impressive temple is not only one of the largest in India but also holds great significance in Jain culture. We will take some time to explore its grand architecture and learn about its rich history before continuing on our way to Udaipur. Upon arriving in Udaipur, you check into your hotel. The day's itinerary includes a visit to Gangour Ghat, where you can witness traditional Hindu rituals and ceremonies by the lake. After breakfast, we will make our way to Pushkar. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and start your sightseeing tour of Pushkar with the help of a guide. We will visit the holy Pushkar Lake where Hindu pilgrims come for a dip, as well as the Brahma Temple dedicated to the lord of creation and Savitri Temple located on Ratnagiri hill which offers an amazing view of the city. After breakfast, your driver will pick you up and take you to Jaipur. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel and in the afternoon, go for a walk through the bazaars of the Pink City. You can also visit Galtaji Temple, colloquially known as Monkey Temple due to the large tribe of monkeys that live there, and witness a beautiful sunset. Stay overnight in Jaipur.
After breakfast, your driver will pick you up from the hotel. Enjoy a guided tour of Amber Fort and Jal Mahal, also known as Lake Palace. Visit Jantar Mantar, the famous astronomical observatory; admire the magnificent royal grace of City Palace; and explore Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. In the morning, we will drive to Agra. On the way, we will visit the small town of Abhaneri, known for its famous Chand Baori step wells. These large tanks were used as cool places of rest and water reservoirs on parched days. It was a ritual to wash hands and feet before visiting the temple. Chand Baori is one of the oldest and most attractive landmarks in Rajasthan state, India. The next stop is Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a magnificent fortified ancient city. It was the first planned city of the Mughals and also their first designed in Mughal architecture - an amalgamation of Indian, Persian, and Islamic styles. Upon arriving in Agra, we will drive to Mehtab Bagh: a garden built on the banks of the Yamuna River to see the sunset in front of the Taj Mahal. Stay overnight in Agra.
In the early morning, your driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you to see the sunrise at the Taj Mahal. We won't say much about it as words can't do justice to its beauty. You have to see it for yourself. Enjoy a guided tour of other spectacular places in Agra, including a visit to Agra Fort (Red Fort) and Baby Taj - Tomb of I’timād-ud-Daulah. After seeing the beauty of Agra in the afternoon, we will drive back to New Delhi and drop you off at your designated location.
