Days 1–2: Mumbai – India’s Gateway to the World

Your journey will start from Mumbai, India’s most fast-paced city and the nation’s financial and cultural hub. Upon arrival at the airport, our representative will greet you and drive you to your luxurious hotel. These signature properties are characterized by refined service, huge rooms, and a calm and relaxing atmosphere despite the city’s energy outside.

Mumbai is a city of stories. Spend the next two days exploring its colonial sights, bustling streets, and sea promenades. Stop at the Gateway of India, which overlooks the harbor, then hop on a ferry and sail off to Elephanta Caves – an island full of ancient rock temples.

Stroll through areas shaped by British design, check out the vibrant markets, and observe daily life unfold along Marine Drive. Cafes, art spaces, and seascapes offer moments of calm amid your exploration.

Evenings are relaxed. Enjoy a sumptuous meal at your hotel or dine in one of Mumbai’s famous restaurants.

Days 3–4: Mumbai to Jodhpur

Hotel: Umaid Bhawan Palace / RAAS Devigarh / Mihir Garh

After breakfast, drive to the airport for your flight to Jodhpur. As the plane descends, you can see the desert landscape appearing and the huge Mehrangarh Fort.

Jodhpur, also known as the Blue City, is a historic destination. Upon arrival, you are escorted to one of the area’s most unique heritage or luxury accommodations. Every hotel is an embodiment of Rajasthan’s royal history and the perfect blend of ancient architecture with modern comfort.

Over the next two days, visit Mehrangarh Fort, one of India’s most splendid hill forts. Stroll through courtyards, galleries, and atop battlements that provide panoramic views of the blue-painted city below.

Stop by Jaswant Thada, a white marble memorial, and Umaid Bhawan Palace, which still partly remains the royal family’s residence.

There is also time to wander around the local markets near the Clock Tower, where fragrant spices, textiles, and handcrafted items give a glimpse of everyday life in Jodhpur.

Evenings here are slow and calming. You can enjoy traditional meals and quiet conversation beneath the desert sky.

Days 5–6: Jodhpur to Jawai

Step beyond the city limits and journey into the rural landscapes of Jawai, one of India’s most extraordinary wildlife regions. What makes Jawai famous is its spectacular granite hills and thriving population of leopards, which coexist peacefully alongside local communities.

Accommodation here is private, cozy, and nature-focused, offering comfort without interrupting the natural surroundings.

During the two days here, go on guided leopard safaris through rocky and open grassy areas to spot some wildlife. Besides leopards, Jawai is also home to crocodiles, antelope, migratory birds, and rich rural traditions, too.

Spend some time visiting the surrounding villages, learn about pastoral life, and have some silent time in nature.

Evenings are enchanted. It’s great sitting around a fire under the open sky while listening to the sounds of the wildlife.

Days 7–8: Jawai to Udaipur

Now, we will travel through the Aravalli Hills towards Udaipur, one of India’s most romantic cities. Udaipur is known as the City of Lakes, a gentle, refined place after the desert.

Check into your lakefront hotel on arrival. Many of these heritage properties and hotels are mansion-style properties, once the residences of royalty, that offer jaw-dropping views over Lake Pichola and surrounding palaces.

Explore the sprawling City Palace, featuring a series of courtyards, balconies, and museums with waterfront views. Explore the Saheliyon Ki Bari, a garden made for royal women, and Bagore Ki Haveli, with its collection of regional art and culture.

One highlight of your stay is the boat ride on Lake Pichola, when the city’s palaces shimmer in the evening light.

Udaipur is an invitation to slow down, gaze out at the scenery, and reflect. Explore the local market, visit beautiful cafes, and make the most of your Udaipur experience.

Days 9–10: Udaipur to Jaipur

Hotel: Samode Haveli / Alsisar Haveli / Jai Mahal Palace / The Oberoi Rajvilas

After breakfast, we will head to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Known as the Pink City, Jaipur is well-planned, vibrant, and full of royal heritage.

The property or accommodation booked will be a luxury resort set amidst beautiful gardens, offering a serene ambience, modern comfort, and all the luxuries for a great stay.

During your stay here, visit Amber Fort, perched amid surrounding hills, where you can wander its corridors and mirror-lined chambers. Visit the City Palace, Jantar Mantar, and take photographs at the famous and iconic Hawa Mahal.

Jaipur is also a good place to shop for various other items like jewellery, fabrics, and handicrafts.

Evenings are relaxed. You can select a cultural show, enjoy a private dinner at the hotel, or spend time around the property.

Days 11–12: Jaipur to Ranthambore

Hotel: The Oberoi Vanyavilas / Aamaghati Wildlife Resort

Then drive from Jaipur to the Ranthambore National Park, one of India’s most renowned wildlife reserves. The region is famous for its Royal Bengal Tiger population and other wildlife such as leopard, sloth bear, deer, and birdlife.

Your accommodation offers luxury in the midst of nature, with spacious rooms and attentive service. Spend two days here, taking morning and afternoon safaris with expert naturalists to explore various zones of the park.

In between safaris, you can rest at the lodge, enjoy various spa treatments, or watch the wildlife right on the property.

Days 13–14: Ranthambore to Agra

After breakfast, drive to Agra, home to the Taj Mahal. Check into your hotel, where you can get a view of the monument.

Experience the grandeur of the Taj Mahal, which is best admired at sunrise or sunset, when the marble reflects changing light. Learn the story about this symbol of love, and wander through its gardens at a gentle pace.

Then visit Agra Fort, a huge complex built by the Mughal dynasty and the seat of their empire. From its balconies, you can spot the Taj in the distance.

Your final evening in Agra is quiet and reflective.

Day 15: Departure – Journey’s End

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport or onward destination as per your travel schedule. Your Indian Wildlife and Palaces Tour ends here with the memories of royal cities, wild landscapes, and historical sites.
