Day 1: Arrival in Kochi – The Gateway to Kerala

Kochi is a coastal town shaped by centuries of spice trade, colonial influence, and local tradition.

Upon arrival at the Kochi Airport, our representative will guide you to the hotel. The rest of the day has been kept relaxed.

After checking in, you can unwind or take a short walk in the neighborhood. Kochi has a serene coastal atmosphere, especially in the evenings, as the temperature drops and the city winds down.

You can then have your dinner, take a rest, and prepare yourself for the next day.

Day 2: Kochi – Culture, History, and the Sea

Stay: Kochi

After breakfast, begin to explore Kochi’s culture. Head to Fort Kochi, where you can see colonial architecture and a peaceful, artistic environment.

Walk along the old churches, colonial buildings, and artistic surroundings. Witness the famous Chinese Fishing Nets, which line the shores of Kochi alongside the movement of the tides.

Visit the Mattancherry Palace, also known as the Dutch Palace, and Jew Town in the vicinity. Antique shops and spice stores sit side by side.

In the evening, enjoy a Kathakali Dance Show, the traditional form of Kerala art known for its dramatic body gestures and elaborate costumes.

After the show, return to your hotel and relax for the night.

Day 3: Kochi to Munnar – Into the Hills

After breakfast, we will be driving to Munnar, a favorite hill station in Kerala. The journey is also quite picturesque, with waterfalls, tea gardens, and valleys covered with mist. As you travel above, you can enjoy the cool and fresh air.

On your arrival, check into your hill resort. The rest of the day is kept free. You can take a walk across the property, have tea while viewing the hills, or simply relax. Munnar lets you slow down and enjoy its beauty.

After that, have your dinner and rest.

Day 4: Munnar – Tea Gardens and Natural Beauty

Stay: Munnar

After breakfast, explore the natural attractions of Munnar. Visit a tea garden to learn about the processing of tea, right from planting to packing. Walk through the neatly lined tea gardens that stretch over the hills. The entire view is picturesque.

Now, continue towards Eravikulam National Park, famous for the Nilgiri Tahr and grasslands. Stop at viewpoints like Echo Point and Mattupetty Dam, where water meets the hills in tranquility.

Return to your hotel in the afternoon. The evening is free to relax, enjoy the cool weather, or take in the peaceful surroundings.

Day 5: Munnar to Thekkady – Forests and Wildlife

After breakfast, drive to Thekkady, home to the famous Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. The landscape changes as hills give way to thick forests and spice plantations.

Check into your nature retreat and take time to rest.

In the afternoon, visit a spice plantation, where you can see and smell cardamom, pepper, cinnamon, and cloves growing naturally.

Later, enjoy a boat ride on Periyar Lake, where you may spot elephants, birds, and other wildlife along the forest edge.

Return to your hotel for a relaxed evening.

Day 6: Thekkady to Alleppey – Backwaters and Houseboat Life

After breakfast, drive to Alleppey, the heart of Kerala’s backwaters. On arrival, board your luxury houseboat, which will be your home for the night.

Lunch and dinner are freshly prepared on board. The pace is unhurried, and the surroundings are calm.

Day 7: Alleppey to Kovalam – From Water to Sea

After breakfast on the houseboat, disembark and drive to Kovalam, a beach town along the Arabian Sea.

On arrival, check into your beach resort overlooking the ocean or surrounded by tropical gardens. The sound of waves and open views create a relaxed atmosphere.

The rest of the day is free. You may walk along the beach, enjoy the pool, or simply rest after the journey.

Dinner is served at the resort.

Day 8: Kovalam – Beach Time and Relaxation

Today is about rest and simple pleasures. After breakfast, enjoy your time at the beach. Kovalam is known for its three beaches, with Lighthouse Beach being the most popular.

Evening is perfect for watching the sunset over the Arabian Sea, followed by dinner at the resort.

Another full day to enjoy Kovalam’s relaxed lifestyle. You may visit nearby Thiruvananthapuram for local markets or cultural sites, or choose to stay at the resort and enjoy its facilities.
