Day 2: Kathmandu Heritage Tour

Kathmandu: The Timeless Heart of Nepal

Kathmandu, the capital and cultural epicenter of Nepal, is a city unlike any otherβ€”a place where ancient temples whisper centuries-old secrets, and the scent of incense drifts through bustling alleyways.

Today, you’ll explore some of the most iconic UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu.

Sites to Visit:

Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple): An ancient hilltop stupa offering panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley.

Pashupatinath Temple: Nepal’s most sacred Hindu temple, located along the banks of the Bagmati River.

Boudhanath Stupa: One of the largest stupas in the world and a spiritual hub for Tibetan Buddhists.

Note: These sites can be customized depending on your interests. Generally, 3 major sites are ideal for one day.

Meals: Breakfast

Day 3: Kathmandu to Chitwan: A Journey from Temples to Jungles

Leaving behind the sacred stupas and bustling streets of Kathmandu, the journey to Chitwan takes you into a completely different side of Nepalβ€”lush, flat, and rich in wildlife. In just 5 to 6 hours by road (or a short domestic flight), you’ll descend from the hills into the Terai plains, where nature and tradition thrive in harmony.

Morning: Board a scenic flight to Chitwan, gliding over the Himalayan foothills and lush lowlands.
Afternoon: Settle into your jungle lodge and take your first steps into the world of Chitwan β€” spot birds, buffaloes, and learn about the local ecosystem.

Evening: Experience the rhythm of local life with a traditional Tharu dance performance or a sunset village stroll.

Meals: Lunch & Dinner
Accommodation: Lodge or nature resort in Chitwan

Day 4: Chitwan National Park Adventure

Chitwan National Park: Where the Wild Things Roam

Welcome to Chitwan National Park, Nepal’s premier wildlife destination and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located in the lowland Terai region, this vast expanse of jungle, grassland, and river systems is a dramatic contrast to the Himalayan peaksβ€”and one of the best places in Asia to experience a true safari adventure.

Get ready for an exciting day deep in the jungle!

Activities:

Jeep Safari – Explore the heart of the park in search of rhinos, deer, and (if you’re lucky) the elusive Bengal tiger.

Nature Walk or Jungle Hike – Learn about the local flora and fauna with expert naturalists.

Optional: Bird watching or a peaceful canoe ride, depending on the season and time.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Accommodation: Resort/Lodge in Chitwan

Day 5: Chitwan to Pokhara: From Jungles to the Himalayas

After the untamed beauty of Chitwan National Park, your journey continues to one of Nepal’s most enchanting destinationsβ€”Pokhara, the city of lakes and mountains.

Morning: Start your day with a calming nature walk followed by a nutritious Breakfast.

Drive: Enjoy a scenic drive to Pokhara (approx. 5–6 hours), soaking in views of rivers, farmlands, and rural life.

Flights are available, though delays are common due to weather.

Evening: Arrive in peaceful Pokhara. Spend your evening unwinding by the lake, enjoying a gentle walk, or visiting a cozy cafΓ©.

Meals: Breakfast
Accommodation: Hotel in Pokhara (Bed & Breakfast)

Pokhara Exploration: Lakes, Legends & Himalayan Views

Nestled beneath the majestic Annapurna range, Pokhara is where tranquility meets adventure. Known as the “Jewel of Nepal,” this lakeside town offers a magical blend of nature, culture, and outdoor thrills.

Activities:

Explore Pokhara: Lakeside walk, boat ride on Phewa Lake, local markets
Optional: Drive or take a cable car to Sarangkot for sunrise/sunset views

Meals: Breakfast
Accommodation: Hotel in Pokhara (Bed & Breakfast)

Day 7: Return to Kathmandu

Morning: Take a scenic flight back to Kathmandu. Note: We recommend booking around 10:00 AM, as earlier flights are less likely to be delayed due to weather.

Afternoon: Enjoy some free time β€” perfect for souvenir shopping, cafΓ© hopping, or visiting any missed heritage sites. Optional guided activities can also be arranged.

Meals: Breakfast
Accommodation: Hotel in Kathmandu (Bed & Breakfast)

Day 8: Farewell, NEPAL !

Morning: After breakfast, you’ll have some time for lastminute shopping or exploring nearby spots.
