Arrival at Chittorgarh Fort – A UNESCO World Heritage Site

Upon reaching Chittorgarh, step into the magnificent Chittorgarh Fort, one of the most celebrated landmarks in Rajasthan. Sprawling across 700 acres, the fort stands as a symbol of Rajput courage and sacrifice, having witnessed legendary tales of battles, sieges, and devotion. With your expert guide, you will learn about the fort’s strategic significance and the dynasty that once ruled this bastion of pride.

Vijay Stambh (Victory Tower)

Begin your guided exploration with the Vijay Stambh, an imposing nine-storey tower built by Rana Kumbha to commemorate victory over the Sultan of Malwa. Meera Temple

Resume your tour with a visit to the Meera Temple, dedicated to the poet-saint Meera Bai, who devoted her life to Lord Krishna. The temple exudes serenity, with exquisite carvings and an atmosphere of devotion that continues to draw pilgrims and visitors alike.

Gaumukh Reservoir

Gaumukh Reservoir Head to the Gaumukh Reservoir, a sacred water tank believed to have provided sustenance during the fort’s many sieges. The reservoir is fed by a spring emerging from a rock shaped like a cow’s mouth (hence the name Gaumukh). Pilgrims often feed the fish here, adding to its tranquil charm.

  • A current and valid passport is required on the day of travel.
  • This tour is not wheelchair accessible.
  • The dress code is smart casual. Please note that shorts or sleeveless tops are not recommended when visiting temples.
  • A moderate amount of walking is involved. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
  • Most travelers can participate; however, this tour may not be suitable for individuals with heart problems or other serious medical conditions.

  • A 15% transaction fee will be charged for cancellations made between 45 and 30 days prior to the scheduled booking date.
  • 50% cancellation charges will apply to cancellations made within the last 30 days before the scheduled tour date.
  • 100% cancellation charges will apply in case of a No Show.

  • After the tour or service cost has been finalized, any increase in monument or museum entrance fees, taxes, fuel costs, or guide charges imposed by the Government of India or the Rajasthan State Government will be charged additionally.
  • The cost of travel insurance, personal insurance, medical emergencies, and any other personal expenses will be borne by the traveler.
