I can wholeheartedly say that India is one of the most vibrant, beautiful, and fascinating countries I’ve ever visited. Its history, culture, architecture, and people have left a lasting impression on me.

A huge reason our experience was so positive was our tour with Janu Private Tours. We were fortunate to be recommended the company by friends who had traveled with them years ago, and now we completely understand why they spoke so highly of them. Without hesitation, we would recommend them to anyone planning a trip to India.

From our very first conversations with Aqeel, everything was handled with professionalism, warmth, and genuine care. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and throughout the trip we always felt supported, comfortable, and incredibly well looked after.

Our driver, Sunil, was exceptional. He was always punctual, endlessly patient, and made every journey feel safe and effortless. Navigating India’s busy roads is no small feat, but Sunil did so with remarkable skill and calmness. His kindness, attentiveness, and quiet sense of humor made him an important part of our experience.

One of the things we appreciated most was having knowledgeable local guides in each city. Rather than simply showing us famous landmarks, they brought each place to life through stories, historical context, and insights we never would have discovered on our own. The forts, palaces, temples, and museums became so much more meaningful because of their passion and expertise.

Surya, Mehrag, and Joji were all fantastic guides—welcoming, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. They answered every question with enthusiasm and helped us develop a much deeper appreciation for India’s rich and complex history.

And finally, we had the pleasure of meeting Janu himself in Jaipur. It was wonderful to hear the story behind the company and see firsthand the passion and integrity that have shaped it. That personal connection made an already outstanding experience feel even more special.

We were lucky enough to find Janu Private Tours through friends who had traveled with them a few years ago and couldn’t stop raving about their experience. Now we completely understand why!

From day one, Aqeel was amazing to work with. He was patient with all of our questions, always quick to respond, and helped us put together an itinerary that was perfect for us.

A huge shoutout to our driver, Sunil, who kept us safe, comfortable, and stress-free throughout the trip. His kindness, professionalism, and guidance made our time with him very enjoyable.

Surya, Mehrag, and Joji, the local guides arranged in each city, were absolutely fantastic! Their knowledge was incredible, they had answers to every question, and they made learning about the history and culture so interesting! We came away feeling like we learned so much!

One of the coolest moments of the trip was meeting Janu himself in Jaipur. It was great hearing about his travels and how he built the company. You can really see how much passion he has for creating memorable experiences for his guests. What impressed us even more was that his care for his guests didn’t stop when our tour ended. As we continued traveling around India on our own, he took the time to check in on us, make sure everything was going smoothly, and offer helpful advice for the next stages of our journey. Having someone so knowledgeable looking out for us made traveling independently feel much less daunting and showed how genuinely invested he is in his guests’ experiences.

From start to finish, the whole team made us feel welcomed, looked after, and completely at ease. Everything ran smoothly, and we were able to focus on enjoying the adventure. We left India with incredible memories, new friends, and a long list of stories to tell back home.

We were lucky enough to hear about Janu Private Tours from some friends who used them a couple years ago and highly recommended them. From the start, everything was so lovely. Aqeel was patient with us, informative, and so prompt with answering all our questions and helping us decide on an itinerary.

Our driver Sunil kept us safe and comfortable. At the end of the trip he felt more like a friend. He was so professional, knowledgeable, and kind.

We also got local tour guides in each city, which really helped us learn so much. When traveling we usually do things on our own, but having the local guides for all the temples, forts, and museums really added to the experience.

Surya, Mehrag, and Joji were the best tour guides and their knowledge was incredible. No question were left unanswered.

Finally, we had the pleasure of meeting Janu in Jaipur and it was great. It was so cool to learn more about how he grew his company and hear more about all his incredible travels.

From beginning to end, everyone involved in making our tour an incredible experience was truly amazing. We felt so taken care of and cannot recommend Janu Private Tours enough. I only have fantastic things to say about booking through Janu Private Tours.

My partner and I did the Golden Triangle tour, starting in Delhi and ending in Jaipur, and we honestly cannot speak highly enough of the attentiveness, flexibility, and care shown throughout the entire experience.

From the airport pickup to taking us absolutely anywhere we wanted to go, and patiently waiting wherever we were, nothing ever felt like too much to ask. Every part of the trip felt seamless and genuinely tailored to us.

Both guides we had were excellent. Imran was incredibly knowledgeable, and his photography skills were such a bonus throughout our time in Agra. Akram was equally brilliant in Jaipur, flexible, warm, and very hospitable. By that stage of the trip, we were slightly overloaded with forts and monuments and wanted to experience more of the everyday life and soul of Jaipur instead. With very little notice, Akram completely adapted the day and showed us the city more like a local would. It ended up being one of the highlights of our trip.

Aqeel was also incredibly responsive on WhatsApp at all times and was always there to help us plan and answer any questions along the way.

The true standout for us, though, was our driver, Zaheer. He was such a kind, professional, and thoughtful presence throughout the trip. He was friendly and conversational, while always respecting our space and downtime too. He kept the beautifully maintained sedan stocked with water, drove expertly through long distances and busy roads, and always waited for us somewhere easy to find. He even took us around Delhi himself, which we really appreciated. He made us feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely looked after for the entire trip.

It is clear that Janu Private Tours has an exceptional team, and every single person we interacted with contributed to making our experience so memorable.

If you are unsure whether booking a private tour and car for the Golden Triangle is worth it, absolutely do it. We could not recommend Janu Private Tours more highly.

We cannot praise "Janu's private tours" highly enough.  We had a tour involving many destinations in India and many modes of transport.  Every aspect of the adventure was meticulous and we were looked after like royalty.  Aqeel was so very helpful in organising our every wish and then checking that all was well.  Our driver Diwa was exemplary, fun, caring and always 'there' where and when he was meant to be. I cannot praise Janu and his team enough! Our group spent 10 days in India traveling from New Delhi to Jaipur and we wanted for nothing. The guides and drivers went out of their way to make sure our trip was flawless.  Raj, who was the guide with us the whole time, was amazing and attentive to everyone in the group.  We saw forts, temples, mosques, tigers, leopards, took a balloon ride, had a cooking class, handblocking class and so much more.  We were there for Holi and the team made it the most incredible experience. Janu Private Tours partnered with Women Who Explore to curate our incredible India & Holi 11 day adventure for almost 30 women!

I would 100% highly recommend Janu's Private Tours to ANYONE who travels to India.  Janu and his team did an incredible job providing us excellent hospitality.  They are so passionate about their country and excited to show us all the sites.

Our local tour guide assigned was Raj and he was very kind, hospitable, helpful, supportive, and always wanted to ensure we were comfortable, happy, and always learning.  We were incredibly impressed by Raj's patience and ability to take beautiful photos of everyone on the trip.  Raj always took the time for us and he helped us capture wonderful memories that we will forever have.  Raj was always eager to answer questions and give us more knowledge on the sites (he's the Agra Fort and Taj Mahal expert) and he always wanted to ensure we had what we needed.

We also really appreciate Baba Khan, our driver, who drove us from Dehli to Agra to Ranthambore to Jaipur.  He took us to all of our sites in all four cities.  Baba Khan always ensured we had enough bottled water, snacks in the van, and restroom stops which was important since we had 15 women in our group.
